Unprotected homosexual sex only spreads STDs if at least one of the partners has an STD. Many gay people have sex, and do not catch STDs. Why isn't God punishing them?

So you're saying that STDs existed in the first-century near East, even if there is no record of this? (By the way, I don't know if STDs other than syphilis and AIDs were prevalent at the time. Can anyone help out with information here?)

So, back to my OP.

Why such a focus on gays when the world is fraught with many many many more social issues?

I guess that my question was answered when PCF started posting though. It's obvious that there are some extreme bigots with twisted views on reality dwelling under the guise of religion. I can see how one such as him can incite a hateful intent in those around him who would not readily stand against him. After all, he speaks to what many christians (at least partially) feel about homosexuality. His reasoning though.. it's insane. >_<

I agree theres more important issues than the homosexual issue. The only part that bothers me about the community is its threat to marriage and its agenda to justify the lifestyle. Since they justify they're lifestyle they are in no way competant to judge or change something as important as marriage.

I think that "marriage" should be defined as a ceremony with no legal attachment and have Civil Partnerships at City Hall for gay and straight.

That way, gay people would have to find a church that did marriages if that is what they wanted.

I don't see how 2% of the American people (Gay People) can dictate to the rest of the population to how marriage should be in our society? and if 98% of the other America's would have protested to the passing on (no measure 8.) As the gay community is. It would have been labeled as a hate crime. We the people spoke twice and they protest. Protest in the streets and Protest in the courts to over turn society wishes. To ram rod your life style down society's throat and it would be just like a liberal judge to over turn the majority of the peoples vote and turn and say they know whats best. The best for who 2% compared to the 98% of the population. You people have issues. You want to tell the people what to do. Just like smokers or fat people. People go to bars ,but turn around and tell the smoker get out Makes no sense....
Overtime you will ware down the people. Just as stated previously you will run your mouths until we can't here nothing else or as you filtrate your selves into prominent positions overtime the 2% of you will have your way.
