I'm not normally that type, if I was only interested in them for their money I'd feel kind of lousy for using them. Of course, if they knew I was using them and didn't mind that might be a different story.

I think you are right to be cautious. As you point out, the lifestyle of most investment brokers is based on materialism and greed, which are pretty much opposed to the Gospel.

If I were using an investment broker (which is unlikely, because I have $60 to my name), I suppose it would be nice to find one who is gay. At least we would have something interesting to talk about - because one would have to work very hard to get ahead while being openly gay in such a business, especially in Ohio. I'm sure they would have a good story, and hopefully would be a better person because of the strength they would have gained through their struggle!

If I could, I would only support minorities in every business. It is my right to choose who I go to, and who I give my money to, after all.
