Well easier said than done. If you only had attraction to the same sex, you would be searching for answers, too. I already found mine.

What if I did but found my answer to be very different. And less convenient.

It would be fine if you did that. Unfortunately, what you (and others like you) do is make the Bible agree with you by reading it out of any kind of literary or historical context. You also make out that your interpretation is the only possible one, thus putting your (human) interpretation of scripture on a par with scripture.

This is LOVING another human being...bad comparison, I wish to do no harm or evil to another, just the opposite.
God doesn't make up arbitrary sins, He gave the purity code to the Israelites for a reason, but we don't follow it.
I TOLD YOU...the best of Scholars admit it's a purity code violation...if it was a moral violation, it should've been set in stone then.

God does not rank sins either a liar is just as condemned as a multi murderer .

These "best of scholars" are people that lean toward you mode of thinking, not to the honest and plain interpretation of the scriptures.

In the end it doesn't matter what "you told "me ,or what I ahve attempted to demonstrate to you, the word of God is the word of God

Well I can't imagine two people bedding down through an unsupporting hating relationship.

How about this for a committed affirming supportive loving relationship: Two people meet in a bar and they are both committed to bedding down. They affirm their commitment. They like it so much that they do it again and again for 6 months. They love it. In the interest of "maintaining their morals" they stay monogamous during the rendez-vous. At the end of it all they claim God's blessing on their relationship.

I wanted to conduct a poll to see what others on this forum believe regarding "christian homosexuality."

I notice there are several people on this forum that say they are practicing homosexuals, and they have no conviction about this lifestyle being sinful. In other words, they think bedding down with the same sex is ok with Jesus, and there is no need to confess this as a sin.

I just wondered what others think.

There will come a day, that they will stand before God on Judgement Day and Christ will ask them " I have had thousands of my servants tell you it is wrong and is against God, even using My Words to show you it is wrong, Why did you not listen to them? "

How will they answer ?

Funny thing here is this. When a person starts looking at Porn, they feel convicted of it, they feel it is wrong, but when they continue to look at it without ceasing, they inevitably stop feeling conviction for it, but they altogether make excuses for it, so they don't have to feel conviction for it. i know MANY people who do not think it is wrong to lust after other woman by using PORN on the internet. They also do not feel conviction for their lusting.

and that is the Truth. i have never met, ( if they are honest ) a homosexual that had NEVER felt conviction by their acts of homosexuality. And i am certain, that many who wholeheardedly excuse their actions, even though it is a lie, will now say to me " I have never felt conviction of my homosexual acts, NEVER "

Care to show me some Biblical proof of what you are saying? That one with the Holy Spirit in them that convicts of sin, sometimes just "fails to work" randomly?

Biblical proof ? look around Brother? How many people claim to be Christian, yet think it is OK to look at PORN, around 15 years ago, i lived in a monestary, and i found out that over 50% of the monk there, had adult magazines in their possessions, and did not think it to be wrong or sinful to look at them with lust, i was ultimately kicked out of that monestary because i outright condemned them for doing such an evil thing. You do not need Biblical proof to reveal that people who claim to be Christians are excusing their own sins in one way or another, the evidence is in their actions, in their deeds.

Mt:7:18: A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit.
Lk:6:43: For a good tree bringeth not forth corrupt fruit; neither doth a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit.

How many claim to be a good tree, yet they produce bad deeds ? There will be weeping and gnashing of teeth, when God's Wrath pours upon THIS generation.
