CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

This show is like the perfect guy's manga. violence, chicks, and guns. Just from the first couple of chapters you could tell that this is really intended for a mature audience and the manga doesn't leave anything uncensored. The best part about it is the unpredictable nature of the story. Anybody can die at any time for whatever reason (shoot even the main character died once and got beheaded for saving a bum's life), and things can happen when you least expect it. I haven't seen any anime that was this close to being so unpredictable as Gantz. Main characters and supporting characters can die in the most horrifying way possible and then the story moves on with the characters permanently gone.
Another part that I like was how real those characters are in Gantz. It emulates people almost flawlessly and manages to convince me that these were living and breathing people. It's like there is no script involved with how the characters interact with each other and their environment.
My rant is over. For those who don't mind the violence and sex involved please take a look at Gantz (preferrably the uncensored anime or the manga). You won't regret it.

The anime (especially the first season) cuts out alot of the violence and nudity. And with almost every violent scene cut from the show, the first season lost a couple of episodes worth of cuts. The DVD has them without the butchering so you might want to take a look at those.
