From the Mario theme to Metal Gear Solid 2, gaming music is a thing to behold!
But which one game, would you say has THE BEST MUSIC?

Try not to say things like...
"Star Wars games" Or anything thats not original to gaming.
This topic hasn't been done before, has it?
Anyway, say what you think...

I loved Warcraft 3's music. WoW also has some very good themes in it.

I like Chrono Trigger and Final Fantasy 6 a lot. Secret of Mana was good. I liked F-Zero X alright.

The PC games King of Dragon Pass and Emperor of the Fading Suns both had terrific music...

I own the soundtrack to Chrono Cross, so obviously that one had top a top notch score. I also liked the soundtrack to Icewind Dale quite a bit.

Going back to before music was at all realistic in video games, Star Fox, Streets of Rage 1 and 2 and Phantasy Star IV all had great music as well.

Final Fantasy game music is wonderful...

I loved Halo music.
GT2 had the best soundtrack, but those were real bands.

The 3DO game "Starfighter 3000" had a soundtrack I really, really, liked. I actually have it in my MP3 collection.

My all time favorite game series, Phantasy Star has some awesome music (more from PSI - PSIV, PSO was fun, but the music wasn't that great).

I also like a lot of the classics such as music from Zelda or Mario. Also, Jet Grind Radio and Jet Set Radio Future had awesome soundtracks.

If your into video game music, you should check out Overclocked Remix. It's a site where people remix video game music. It's way cool!

The Final Fantasy series has the BEST music over any game by far. My fav's are probably Final Fantasy 6... and then its between 7 and 8. (Just my opinion, btw, its not a fact... but it should be [just kidding])

Coming in at second is probably the Zelda music. Gooood stuff
