What games would you recommend for PS2?

It depends on your tastes. I could recommend tons of shooters, since that's my favorite genre, but I'm not sure if you're into them. What do you like?

Final Fantasy series

That's not counting the PS1 games that can be played on the PS2, such as the original Silent Hill, and the bulk of the Final Fantasy series.

I just got my PS2 for Christmas, so I don't have that much experience with the games...but the ones I have and I like are:

The suikoden series (although 1 and 2 are for the ps1). Sadly Suikoden 3 wasn't released in Europe but Suikoden 4 will be out here in under four weeks time, apparently.

Since probably no one will recommend any of the great adventure games, I will, Onimusha 1 and 2 and Devil May Cry 1. Great action, visuals, and story.

i have NBA live 2004 and still play it even thought it's a year old now. I also like Need for Speed Underground 2.
