The last time I had my car fixed was in 1991. It broke down completely about a year later and I never got a new one.

I walk mostly. It takes me 7 minutes to walk to work and the grocery store is just around the corner. I take taxis occasionally but, over all, it's cheaper than owning a car.
I saw my sister about a couple of months ago.
When was the last time you went to see an optomitrist?
