I am concerned about not having a qualified administration in this countryYou say that, but it's not really a job for almost anyone. It very easy to be a bad president. but to be a good president requires real ability, experience, wisdom and judgement. There don't seem not many politicians around right now, who much of any of those requirements around who really stand out as obvious candidates right now. Not only that, a lot of leaders in many different countries around the world don't currently seem to have what it takes, so lot of really poor decisions seem to be being made resulting in later consequences which nobody considered at the time.
Look at Putin and he's current behavior is assuming that this current crisis, which is mostly of his making won't blow up in his face and start a really big war. Nobody knows how this crisis is going to end. Currently it not looking particularly great for all concerned. The media now seem to be talking about 200,000 russian troops currently lined up on the border ready for action. As to how true these claims may, or may not be, it is very hard to know, but for either side to back down now is getting more and more difficult, without someone losing face.
The trouble is that there's always potential for something, which no one has ever considered, to without warning, escalate the crisis to newer and unexpected levels and suddenly everybody is blaming each other and nobody is able to step down and lots of people are dying. Once it starts, putting a stop to it will be a very difficult thing to do! Russia has lots of tanks, but taking out large numbers of tanks, is quite a lot easier than it used to be. Russia is relying very heavily on it's numerical superiority, but what happens if that superiority just gets destroyed.
NATO's technology is designed to do just that and suddenly the other option might be neuclear weapons. Once the shooting starts, decisions can happen very quickly!
In what way(s) do you think the administration is not “qualified”?I am concerned about not having a qualified administration in this country
Guess who is sorry nowThe majority of voters disagreed last time. Oh well, what can you do?
Using them to help someone who is in need would not be a waste.Hi @disciple Clint
I suppose it's a matter of perspective, but I've never thought of not using government funds that were not needed as wasteful.
God bless,
Ted
Amazing, just plain Amazing. Afghanistan was not an egregious mistake? Biden's recent speech in Georgia on voter rights did not involve calling people names? What is your news source, do you have one?Hi @disciple Clint
Again, I suppose that it's a matter of perspective, but I don't see that he's made any egregious mistakes or errors. Everything seems to be running fairly calmly around the nation and no one is calling anyone else names. It's a good life for some of us.
The legislature is working out an infrastructure bill and that's the way our government was established to run. This is the part that the former guy could never figure out. He always thought that he could run the government like he runs his generally failed businesses. What I say goes!!! But that isn't how our government operation was established. It's the legislature that pretty much has the last word in how things go. The President's job is just to guide and lead the nation and be the 'face' of our nation internationally. I believe that part of the job is being handled much better today than it has been over the previous 4 years.
But again, I'm confident one's feelings and understandings of the issues are going to depend on one's political persuasion. I believe though, that a lot of the anger and mistrust is generally predicated on one not understanding the operation of our government.
God bless,
Ted
no I think we will just sit back and let his administration destroy itself, it is well on the way to having no support from his party. You get to put your vote forward at the next election,
otherwise I guess, maybe join an insurrection or coup or something, and risk prison time if you are unsuccessful. That's the approach taken for banana republics.
Maybe Republicans could try for impeachment and removal after mid terms, if they have the numbers or change the system to a simple majority if they don't quite have the numbers - which might lead to all future presidents getting impeached and removed after mid terms from now on??? USA continually slipping further and further into dysfunction.
In every way, can you provide any evidence of anything they have done that demonstrates competenceIn what way(s) do you think the administration is not “qualified”?

One could guess, or one could look at the data. Based on posts nitpicking the current administration, it seems to be people who didn't vote for them in the first place.Guess who is sorry now
If following the plan of the one term ex-president was a mistake, you can understand why voters rejected him in record numbers.Amazing, just plain Amazing. Afghanistan was not an egregious mistake?
Well, his own party isn't against him. A few key persons in leadership within the party have apparently stymied this particular attempt to undermine one of our important institutions, but it could be a different story when doing away with the Supreme Court or doing away with the Electoral College or doing away with the First or the Second or the Tenth Amendment is on the chopping block All of them are in that position currently, not just the attempt to do away with the filibuster in Congress for just this one particular vote. It's really bad when even his own party is against him.

Perhaps you should review his approval ratings 33% is not a passing grade and indicates that many who voted for him are not happy now.One could guess, or one could look at the data. Perhaps they're sorry more people don't agree with their minority view. Or that the attempts to use violence to prevent Biden from being elected didn't work? Not sure what you're getting at here.
that excuse is not valid, it has been proven to not be valid and I am shocked that anyone would even attempt to use it .If following the plan of the one term ex-president was a mistake, you can understand why voters rejected him in record numbers.
Here Ted let me help you. McConnell says Biden speech was 'incoherent, incorrect and beneath his office'Hi @disciple Clint
No, I don't see the draw out of Afghanistan as some 'disastrous' event. It was a hard pull out, but not significantly different from the hard pull out that we suffered after Vietnam. War isn't supposed to be fun and easy. But 'disastrous' is not how I would describe how we left Afghanistan.
Did Pres. Biden call people names in his Georgia speech? I don't remember hearing any. Did he point out some people, maybe, but that isn't name calling. At least not to me. Name calling is when you choose a derogatory sounding name to address someone or some group of people.
God bless,
Ted
Wow Ted I am impressed you not only know what I am thinking but you also know what God is thinking, that is truly impressive. Now if you just give those who are in need the money you do not want all would be goodHi @disciple Clint
Ok, so we're agreed that either not using the monies given for pandemic relief or giving it to someone who might need the help, are neither wasteful. Good. The problem with me personally giving the money to someone that I know needs help is just probably not very productive in solving the larger problem. If the government had initially decided to only give the money to people who were adversely affected financially by the pandemic issues, then the government could have saved millions or billions and helped a multitude of people who needed it. My little giving away my money personally to someone I know likely isn't going to help the larger situation.
You come across as one who is pretty twisted up about the current political situation and I can only tell you that God doesn't want you to feel that way about the earthly government that rules over you. Be respectful and understand that the government has to deal with all 330 million of us...not just you.
God bless,
Ted
