CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

why would I think that? don't teens have just as big of an impact on peoples' lives as "other people"? (yes they do)

BTW I heard of a teenage girl that was courageous enough to go to the front of the church and pray for the church every sunday when it was small and it grew and grew and grew and now it's a really big church. I don't know which church it was, but a credible source told me of it.

yes we can make a diffrence to who we meet,but is that always a good thing?(mostly it is,but sometimes its not)

Doesn't God tell us to live like Jesus? Didn't he love people at all times? (love doesn't mean you have to be all smiley and happy all the time; just that you treat other people with respect and do things for them whether they do things first or in return.)
