The judge, Leslie Abrams Gardner — the sister of former gubernatorial candidate Stacey Abrams, a prominent ally of President-elect Joe Biden who has led voter registration efforts across the state

concluded that the counties appeared to have improperly relied on unverified change-of-address data to invalidate registrations in the two counties.

ummm...did you read your own link?

Because it's clear the Judge did correct the voter purge attempt ruling that "that the counties appeared to have improperly relied on unverified change-of-address data to invalidate registrations in the two counties."

"The evidence to challenge the 4,000 registrations in Muscogee County was particularly sparse. The challenge was lodged Dec. 14 by a local voter named Ralph Russell who alleged that he had compared evidence from publicly accessible voter registration databases to prove that these voters had moved out of Georgia."

From the actual ruling: "the removals of the voters appeared to violate federal law because they were not given proper notice and because they qualify as the type of systematic voter roll cleaning that is not permitted within 90 days of a federal election."

Stacy Abrams sister presided over a case that Stacy Abram brings and the best is the Trump defense?

you gotta be kidding
I'm not seeing any indication that Stacy Abrams or Fair Fight was part of this case. Do you have a source for that?

You gotta be kidding... as noted in Post #2 "the removals of the voters appeared to violate federal law because they were not given proper notice and because they qualify as the type of systematic voter roll cleaning that is not permitted within 90 days of a federal election."

Seems pretty clear doesn't it? So what difference does it make whether the judge is Ms. Abram's sister ... again, the law is quite clear? Does the law some how change due to relational issues?

So I read the motion to recuse. It seems like a stretch to me. They wanted her to recuse herself because Fair Fight was part of a lawsuit in a different district, and that this case, I assume if decided first though that wasn't specified in the motion, could then be used as persuasive precedent to that case.

Hmm... your story indicates that mostly minority people in Georgia were illegally disinfranchised. That would seem to indicate that Trump would have lost by a larger margin, if they weren't.

Doesn't seem to help your argument.

And I don't think that "if you sister had anything to do with this, you'd be prejudiced, so you have to recuse yourself" is a very solid argument.
