My vet said the funniest he heard was

A dog was out in the waiting room just barking and growling like a buzzy annoying appliance. And when the vet reached for him the dog growled and went after him with a grrr -grrr -grrr-grrr-uff. Grrr- grrr-grr-grr - uff.

The dogs name?

"Chainsaw"

Haha. My best friend was at the vet once and she saw this guy sitting with this adorable, sweet little female dog. She was friendly and excited to be seeing new people. When the vet came out to call her in, what did he call her?

Stink. The poor thing's name was Stink. And she didn't even know her name was an insult, she just went happily off with the vet. I laugh every time I think about it.

They both said this was unique. Also some other strange names I have heard were: Goliath, Shadrach, Genesis, Malachi, and Scribbles for dogs

My mother-in-law use to have a cat named Dumdum. I'm not sure why she named him that. From what I understahd, he was pretty smart cat.

My childhood friends had a GD called Ivan.

Hi, I have a great dane but he's a mixed breed with rottweiller. My daughter calls him 'Cha-cha". He's not as big as a pure great dane but big enough to scare off strangers. Ha! He goes along well with my black lab(Max) but my mongrel dog(Choo-choo) is more dominant and sometimes bully him.

Cha-Cha is not agressive though he looks like one. He's gentle but dumb in a good sense, and easily scared. When something drops on the ground loudly, it would scurry off and its tail in between its hind legs! Like the cartoon dog, Scooby Doo! Scooby Doo portrays a similar character of my dog.

They sort of ran out of names for them. When puppies, they are called poppy or puppy and as they grow older, they can't be called puppy, and therefore changed to the nearest pronunciation like pee-poh and poh-pee. By the way, the owner doesn't speak English well.

we just got a parakeet from an old woman that rescues birds and hand feeds them.my dad named him "snap daddy" and it fits.i finally got my bird.its in a huge cage though,it looks so lonely.
