I don't need a sword. I passed Ranger training even though I didn't even have to.

No, that was survival training, only with eating grubs and roots and stuff. Ranger, as in US Army Ranger, like in attacking, incapacitating and "offing" if you get my drift.
Without weapons if necessary. :o
