I'm going to close this contest at 8 pm EST this evening, (Sunday the 7th of September.) There's still time if anyone else wishes to enter.

My son congratulates all of you on doing a great job with your characters! He listened to each of the songs presented and found there were a couple he hadn't heard before. lol Here is his decision...

It turned out that my son could not decide between a few of you and ended up with two tied placings, which means eveyone gets a placing. lol He did say, before he had a look, that if there were two folk who were not placed, for me to give those folk 2000 blessings each and a notable mention.

I want to thank all of you very much for taking the time to enter this contest. I hope you all had fun and perhaps I'll run another contest soon. There are those who say 'well, what's the point?' as there is very little on which to spend blessings at present. We can give blessings away to folk, but I miss the fun and fellowship that BE and the dressup contests afforded before the upgrade...the blessings prizes are just a bonus.

Glad you enjoyed the contest, missms. Yes, it'll be good when the avatars are fixed. I know some folk were having problems cos they had too much stuff, ravenscape said a while back there. I was thinking that folk who enjoy dressup contests and are having avatar problems could open a sock account and buy just the few items needed so as to be able to participate in a contest if they wanted.

I just downloaded firefox the other day to compare to IE and I like it so far, though it's taking some time to get used to the tab buzz. I haven't tried changing my character with firefox yet, though. I might do that later and see if it goes better than with IE for me.
