"Full of Grace" - how many texts in the Bible have that? And who is it applied to?

Everyone knows of a common sentence used now days -- that has in it the phrase "full of grace".

That phrase occurs two places in the Bible.

Know where that is??
The phrase only appears once in the KJV. John 1:14

Acts 6:8 And Stephen, full of grace and power, was performing great wonders and signs among the people.

John 1:14 And the Word became flesh, and dwelt among us; and we saw His glory, glory as of the only Son from the Father, full of grace and truth.

I don't know what version you're using for Acts 6:8 but the KJV uses the phrase "full of faith and power" there.

I like the KJV translation much better.

John 1:14
Grace:
05485χάρις cháris, khar'-ecefrom 5463;graciousness (as gratifying), of manner or act (abstract or concrete; literal, figurative or spiritual; especially the divine influence upon the heart, and its reflection in the life; including gratitude):--acceptable, benefit, favour, gift, grace(- ious), joy, liberality, pleasure, thank(-s, -worthy).

Truth:
00225ἀλήθεια alḗtheia, al-ay'-thi-afrom 227;truth:--true, X truly, truth, verity.

Acts 6:8
Grace:
04102πίστις pístis, pis'-tisfrom 3982;persuasion, i.e. credence; moral conviction (of religious truth, or the truthfulness of God or a religious teacher), especially reliance upon Christ for salvation; abstractly, constancy in such profession; by extension, the system of religious (Gospel) truth itself:--assurance, belief, believe, faith, fidelity.

Truth:
01411δύναμις dýnamis, doo'-nam-isfrom 1410;force (literally or figuratively); specially, miraculous power (usually by implication, a miracle itself):--ability, abundance, meaning, might(-ily, -y, -y deed), (worker of) miracle(-s), power, strength, violence, mighty (wonderful) work.

According to Strong's the translations you listed for Acts 6:8 don't match the underlying Greek at all. The KJV does.

Acts 6:8 Στέφανος δὲ πλήρης χάριτος καὶ δυνάμεως ἐποίει τέρατα καὶ σημεῖα μεγάλα ἐν τῷ λαῷ

χάρις -- Charis -- Grace

The KJV translates Strong's G5485 in the following manner: grace (130x), favour (6x), thanks (4x), thank (4x), thank (with G2192) (3x), pleasure (2x), miscellaneous (7x)

of grace
χάριτος
charitos
