I'm officially hooked on this show! I love Walter. That homeland security agent (the guy from LOST), I don't know about him. I think he's rather shady and in cahoots with Massive Dynamics.

The final scene gave me that LOST feeling, leaving me with a ton of questions. From the episode summary:

Nina walks into a laboratory at Massive Dynamic and hands the disk to a scientist, saying that they have found another one. The scientist confirms that it is intact, and he should be able to break the encryption that is locking the data on the disk. The scientist then gestures to a computer monitor where streams of data are being downloaded. He has been able to stabilize the linkto another disk, and has been pulling data off it for the last 72 hours. The top of the data stream is labeled "John Scott," and Nina asks to be informed when the download is finished. Next to the monitor rests the body of John Scott, neural probes snaking back to the monitor.

What????? Questions, questions questions!!!!

Oh I know, the final scene was pretty amazing. Last week or the week before, I don't remember, they wheeled him in and she asked how long he'd been dead. The guy said 5 hours -- and I think 6 hours was the max before they couldn't get into their minds anymore, so I assume that's what they were doing.

This is one of my favorite shows now. I love Walter too!

Massive Dynamic has a website! LOL

http://www.massivedynamic.com/

This reminds me of when Lost first started and everyone used to check out the job postings at The Hanso Foundation.

Please no! I already spend too much time obsessing over a tv show (LOST), I don't have time to do it for another show! lol

Yeah, like if you get your arm cut off in a tragic industrial accident, they can build you a new bionic arm that's better... stronger... faster...! ;)

Ever since Nina revealed that her arm is robotic, I keep looking at her arm in every scene that she's in... just to see how she interacts with it. And foolishly, I keep saying to myself that if she REALLY had a robotic arm, she wouldn't be idley twiddling her fingers the way that she does. :D

My favorite characters in Fringe is Walter and his son. His son just has this sarcasm that is really hilarious. Walter is funny because he says random hilarious things out of the blue.

Walter: Oh my gosh.
Guy that receives phone signals: What, what is it?!
Walter: With the proper demodulation, you could receive free satellite television.

Genius!

That's a really good catch! I'm going to have to find the episode online and watch again to hear it.

This is gonna make me sound old...

Just around the time that you were born, there was a show created called Dawson's Creek. The "son" that you're referring to (Joshua Jackson) was on that show and was really great in it.

Not sure if you're old enough to know about the show though. Katie Holmes was in it too. She was his girlfriend for a while. You probably know who Katie Holmes is. LOL
