  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

Relationship wise: No makeup. Natural looks. Simple, nice clothing. Generous, kind, and loving. Loves God with all her heart, and loves everybody else, too.
Friendship wise: Anyone who's a Christian. (If not, then someone who's fun to be around with.)

Future wife: She has to be a Christian lady that accepted Christ into her life. She must have more love for God than love for me. She must be teachable to the Bible, and must be faithful. I don't really mind how she looks, but how she looks inside--as in her personality and heart. If she has a bad heart, then she's not worth it. BUt if she has a heart of gold, and serves God with her heart and soul, then she's more valuable than all the rubies in the world. And lastly, I have to meet her in ministry. I'm not going to go far and wide across the planet searching for my dream wife, but I have to meet her during my walk with God. If I meet my future wife, should I ever get married, I will know. Plus there'll be a whole lot of prayer involved before I ever marry her/'court' her. Essentially, I made this a big answer for an otherwise simple question. Forgive me. :) But basically: who God wants me to marry.

I look for a caring guy who is open to learning new cultures and to (if he doesn't know already) to learn about our Lord. I don't care when a guy has flaws like acne and such. I just want a guy who cares about me and can handle commitment.

As for marrying, when the day comes, I want a man who can respect my interests and how I look at the world. I also want a family when I grow up so I want a guy who wants to be a dad.

I like guys who love God of course. I definitely want a praying man & one who knows the Word well. Also, I want him to do manly things. You know plumbing, fix cars, fix stuff around the house, etc. That's sooooo attractive to me

As for friends, as long as you love God and we can study the Bible together we can be great friends

First, what attracts you to a man/woman (friendship and dating wise)?

Second, what do you look for in a future husband/wife?

1. For friendship it's pretty much personality and common interests. If I find someone who has things in common with me, we're already buddies! But of course, anyone who is friendly is already a friend ^_^

As for dating...I'll be honest and say that I am attracted to sensible girls. The type of girl who dresses smartly, has a quiet nature, is disciplined (yet assertive in her convictions), has a sense of humility, very studious etc. Let's just say our stereotypical anime school girl who shys away from boys and keeps to her books...like Kanade Tachibana, just without the wings and freaky powers :sorry:

Reasons for that...opposites attract! I'm pretty much considered a rebel by my friends, I'm pretty loud and do attend parties. However none of the ''mainstream girls'' that I associate with attract me at all. I've found that dating someone who's very similar to me ultimately ends in disaster (I've had some relationships that I'm not too proud of sharing here...)

Perhaps deep down...I am a quiet and sensible boy, I surely would like to meet a girl who would bring out the inner me (well that was pretty deep).

2. That girl would be my wife.

Amen to that. I myself am a loud girl(sometimes). At school I usually keep to myself. I discipline myself more than anyone else. I put myself to high expectations, and basically, if I don't meet that, I kind of kick myself over it. For me, it's my friends who tend to be "wild". I am the type of person that won't start drama, but I do have an attitude and when people mess with me, nothing good can happen:hahaha: But, I control myself:p

Discipline is really the one thing I lack...I think that a lot of my supposed discipline simply comes from a fear of my parents (I have an Asian mom...it's understandable). My own character has poor willpower and self control...thus I get pretty reckless at times. I'm speaking the truth, even if it might not be apparent on the forums (writing is the most linear form of self expression).

That's one of the reasons why I would look for discipline in a partner. I've had some relationships with girls very similar to me...and it's never ended well. Unfortunately most girls in my school act crazy. I just want to find someone calm and good natured to be with. If I said this to my friends, they wouldn't take me serious...however I've always longed for a girl that would help me change my character.

You seem to have good qualities...you score very high in personality! Then again boys pursue relations with girls for ridiculous reasons such as race, looks and popularity...and vice versa. You can already tell that I don't want a mainstream girl, and that she wouldn't be looking for a mainstream boy.
