I do not have many...

But that's because my social needs are quite low.. and I like to keep my friends few.. and I love my alone time.. although lately I have been more social.. not sure how long I'll keep that up.. lol.

Do you find it easy to make friends? Making them is easy, keeping them is tricky because I'm an introvert and I'm picky about how people treat others, even if it isn't me, and especially if it is someone who is vulnerable.

I need them, but I can -and have- gotten by without any. I don't recommend it though. People need others.

I have on more than one occasion removed people from my life because they were not good for me or my kids. I have also left behind a lot friends to get away from a place that was bad for us.

Sounds self-medicating and like someone with a tendency to use others to meet their own needs but has no regard for other's wellbeing.

Many, actually. Yes. Old, new, work friends, friends from college, friends from childhood. It's a veritable cornucopia of platonic relations.

When I want to yes. I'm friendly with everyone, but I'm selective with who I let "in".

As much as I enjoy my friends, I consider myself a loner in a lot of ways. I also prefer socializing one on one or in very small groups.

Maybe? I had a friend from childhood who raked me over the coals when my wife divorced me. I ended that friendship. Sometimes I think it would be cool to reconnect but after six years I don't think the friendship would ever be the same, plus I what I've accomplished in my life after that friendship ended leads me to believe he was holding me back in a lot of ways.

It is preferable to have friends. I'd like to say all I need is Jesus, but God has brought people in my life who where there when I needed them. Friends are a blessing.

Nope. If someone doesn't want to be my friend they don't want to be my friend.

In real life, sadly no. Online, it appears to be much easier.

I need friends, without them I get lonely. I need the companionship, support, and guidance of good friends.
