CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Through my sorority, classes, dorm all at college though I didn't know anyone from home hs when i went up there.

a little of high school and college. I go to a school quite close to my high school. My college is small (around 300 students) but at least 4 of the people in my class are from my high school. The rest I've met in classes and such

I met my college friends various places...most of them from college, but the rest of them on the internet lol...I have 2 friends from grade school that are still my friends today! other than that the rest of them are recent additions to my life!

I go to a different college from all of my friends from highschool. so all of my friends that I have at college are people that I have met there and didn't know before. I do keep in touch with some people from highschool though.

Most of the people who graduate from my high school go to a nearby community college. I don't so I fell out of the loop pretty quickly. It's weird. When I go back, all the same people are still dating each other, hanging out together, etc. Going home is kind of weird, almost like going back in time.

I picked the 'other' option.
My closest friend is still my friend from elementary school, and we still go to school together. The rest of my college friends I either met at school or for the most part at church. Some friends I just met through other friends in a neutral environment.
