Well, since i've only known Jesus for 1 year and haven't explored that much of the bible... could use some help to get some questions answered from my friend? (he asks me how the pentecostal church/or churches like pentecostal look at it)

1. Where in the bible does it stand about no-sex-before-marriage?

2. How would the ppl in church react if I where a Christian and parting all weekends and get drunk at the pub and so? would they toss me out from church?

1. You shall not commit adultery? I mean what do you want, there's only a bajillion.... Just do a word search on "fornication" in the Bible...

It's also interesting to note that in the Hebrew language there is no neutral word for 'sex' like we do. Their word for 'sex' meant 'sex in marriage'. For them it was either 'sex in marriage' or 'committing adultery'.

2. Depends on the church and depends on if you're a member of the church. If it's a biblical church and the person is a member then the church will first warn the person and if they don't repent then they will kick them out with the hope that hey will repent from their sin.

1. Where in the bible does it stand about no-sex-before-marriage? Use an onlinle concordance and look up scriptures pertaining to the word "fornication".

No Jesus-led, Bible-based church would toss you out. Noticed I qualified this. Let's look at the scriptures...

The Lord's servants must not quarrel but must be kind to everyone. They must be able to teach effectively and be patient with difficult people. They should gently teach those who oppose the truth. Perhaps God will change those people's hearts, and they will believe the truth. Then they will come to their senses and escape from the Devil's trap. For they have been held captive by him to do whatever he wants. (2 Tim 2:24-26)

Love is patient and kind. Love is not jealous or boastful or proud or rude. It does not demand its own way. It is not irritable, and it keeps no record of being wronged. It does not rejoice about injustice, but rejoices whenever the truth wins out. Love never gives up, never loses its faith, is always hopeful, and endures through every circumstance. (1 Cor 13:4-7)

"Why do you look at the speck of sawdust in your brother's eye and pay no attention to the plank in your own eye? How can you say to your brother, 'Let me take the speck out of your eye,' when all the time there is a plank in your own eye? You hypocrite, first take the plank out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to remove the speck from your brother's eye. (Mat 7:3-5)

So why do you condemn another believer? Why do you look down on another believer? Remember, we will all stand before the judgment seat of God. For the Scriptures say, “As surely as I live, says the Lord, every knee will bend to me, and every tongue will confess and give praise to God. Yes, each of us will give a personal account to God. So let’s stop condemning each other. Decide instead to live in such a way that you will not cause another believer to stumble and fall.” (Romans 14:10-13)

Now, this is not say that no church will throw someone out. But the truth is, if any church "throws someone out" then they have failed in doing what Jesus has taught us to do - which is to forgive and pray and let God do the condemning.

You might want to read up a bit more. Scripture is very clear that it is the church's job to kick members out who live in unrepentant sin. (not permanently, if they repent they are allowed back in with love and forgiveness)

If a church just allows it then they are effectually saying "what you're doing isn't that big of a deal." Just allowing people to get away with habitual and blatant sin is also extremely unloving to that person. It is much easier to just let the sin of believer's slide by and not saying anything, what takes guts and true love is to be able to confront a brother when they are in sin, and if they don't repent, to lovingly carry out church discipline.

Not only that, but it is unloving to Christ not to carry out church discipline. People who profess to love Christ but who live like Hell essentially drag Christ's name through the mud. People hate hypocrisy more than anything, and it makes Christianity and Christ look ugly when people claim Christ but don't live it. By kicking a member out of a church that church is publicly saying that hypocrisy and the Christian life don't mix.

Don't get me wrong, the church does this out of love for the believer and out of love for Jesus. The goal in kicking them out is that they would repent and come back into a right relationship with Christ and with the church.

Read 1 Corinthians 5:1-13, Matthew 18:15-20, Titus 3:10, and 2 Corinthians 2:5-11
