Hello everyone. I haven't been on this account for over two years, and I had forgotten about this site too! Which is a shame, but my excuse was deep; depression, loneliness, money problems, lack of motives for college, and no job to speak of. My mind was totally off-course from this site.
Well, thanks to the insane several year-long journey to today, God graced me by substantially curing me of these deep-rooted problems, and now I'm doing grand right now (relative to my past self at least). I'd like to celebrate what God has given me by enjoying his gifts and making the most out of it, but that is hard to do alone.
For me, it has always been a problem to gain friends, as I always had trouble with socializing in general. But that wasn't the main reason why hadn't gained long-term deep friendship, as I have over time, grown to hate the society of today (I won't go into it), and it gives me a lot of stress to try to make friends. In an increasingly secular world, it is hard to find fellow Christians, let alone ones that share my hobbies and interests.
And so here I am, making a personal request in friendship while gaming. I have other interests, but gaming is the most casual area of my life where I can just escape the politics and stresses of the world.
However, as any veteran of multiplayer gaming would know, there are a lot of trolls, griefers, ragers, drama/gossip attracters, insults of all types, and lack of unity in playing together. These bring the stresses back to even the escapism I seek through gaming. This is obviously where friends come in to fill the games, where we can all fear less of teammate-related problems in the next match and so forth. Where we can all have fun, and commit to the challenge of winning.
This brings me to LoL (League of Legends), where, do to my still relatively poor standing in money, has been the only complex game I can play with others for basically free. I'm surprised it can even play on my computer, which is absolutely ancient. I can't even have WebGL display properly! Anyway, since I didn't see any recent posts about LoL here, I decided maybe I can start a team of Christians that can gather 'round in LoL and have fun together with the time we have to ourselves on the computer. So yeah, please post your username here or PM your info (in LoL) if you like the idea of being friends.
