When I see a large amount of people completely bashing a concept it catches my interest, as well. Only because I've come to notice that there's nothing that can start a riot like a truth nobody wants to accept. It is interesting that some Christian practices aren't considered "politically correct" in our country and politicians will try to discredit God but you'll have a mob after you if you say anything about any other religion. Why is it that it's right to tolerate everyone under the sun except Christians? There must be something to it...
The KJV has been around since the reformers. Now everyone is abandoning it and we notice people have no regeneration or understanding of Biblical salvation.
We live in the laodicea era. Either people are hyper legalistic or hyper grace. They are never in the middle most of the time. Which is justified by blood and sanctified by blood to be Holy.
They like to attack the reformation and the Bible.
I would pray about it and try out the KJV to see if there is a difference when using it.
The Bible has power.
Do not be ashamed for being a Protestant or Lutheran or Baptists or Pentecostal or what denomination you may be. We've been around since Martin Luther the forefather of our reformation.
When they stop talking about Jesus and leave out his cross and blood. This Is what happens.
"
18For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which are saved it is the power of God.
19For it is written, I will destroy the wisdom of the wise, and will bring to nothing the understanding of the prudent.
20Where
is the wise? where
is the scribe? where
is the disputer of this world? hath not God made foolish the wisdom of this world?
21For after that in the wisdom of God the world by wisdom knew not God, it pleased God by the foolishness of preaching to save them that believe.
22For the Jews require a sign, and the Greeks seek after wisdom:
23But we preach Christ crucified, unto the Jews a stumblingblock, and unto the Greeks foolishness;
24But unto them which are called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God, and the wisdom of God."
