Friday Night Lights?

I looked through several pages of threads, but I didn't see one on this anywhere. Does anyone else watch this show? I really really like it. I think the characters are great - they actually ACT like real people and real things happen to them. (Some other shows are so dramatic or so over the top no one in their real lives would ever deal with such things.)

So - anyone else watch it? And if so, what do you think of this DirectTV deal they cut? I'm glad they brought it back but I don't know if I can wait until the episodes air on NBC!!!!

Can't wait till season 3 premiere October 1st.
Great show, but most likely the last season.
I heard also that season 3 is couple of years in the future from the last one.

I don't think it's a couple of years in the future. I have a client that has been cast in a recurring role in the series and he says Saracen and the other major players are still on the team. Saracen's a senior isn't he??

Yeah it's only a few months ahead of the last season. Desperate Housewives is going to jump a few years ahead, so maybe that's where the confusion lays.
