  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

how many times a week should i work out my abs? i do various excerises, and the next day, my muscles ache in that area so i'm not too thrilled about doing anything. but the day after, i'll do the same routine, and the next day, feel no soreness (as though i hadn't done any work).

is it like every second day? three times a week?

don't know.

i know weighttraining, you've to give your muscles a day off or so.

some advice would sorely be welcomed (pun intended)

I do the abs every workout...even on cardio days just because that is my biggest problem area. I can usually tell quickly if i have overdone my crunches...i get ab muscle spazes. I have to stay at about 50 to 60 a set. so i am the exeption to catalysts rule: I can work them everyday if wanted without soreness the next day??
i must be ab normal.....ha
perhaps vibrant you need to lower the intensity of your workout.

Some days I can feel my abs after I work them out, and others I can't. My the lower right side of my belly was twitching all weekend, it was drivin me crazy, maybe I overdid my ab workout or something.

It seems like some days I concentrate on my exercise better than others. I can tell a big difference on those high-concentration days. I visualize my muscles working and growing. I don't do high reps which is why I can pretty much work out daily. I switch exercises a lot and if I don't feel like doing a particular exercise that day, I save it for the next day. I keep my muscles confused that way, which causes them to work harder.
