In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Yep, I got an account with 1and1.com and it seems like a great service. 500megs of space with 5gig transfer a month. More bandwidth would cost $1.00 a gig extra if you need it. It has php4, 1 mysql, shell access throug tty as well as FTP access and a bunch of other services. You can also get your DNS through them for $6.00 or point your own if you like. The 3 years free is for North America only if the special has not expired already.pgp_protector said:

You think? Im not really into hear say. I fully read all the agreements and so forth before signing up. Supposedly they have been serving clients for some years and are trying to expand with this promotional deal that is now ending. If they pull something then they break their agreements and loose potential business. Most pay sites you can run more than one site but if you want more than one with 1and1 you will need to pay for it (beyond this promotional site). If I were to open another site why would I use 1and1 if they pulled something with the site I have now? And why would I recommend them to someone else for a pay site if the one I have is junk? That would just be bad business. I'd like to see some documentation regarding this warning really.

Kk as I said it's still being worked on. Most of the work so far has been with te portal. The Solar Data block is my creation. Recent Earthquake block is mine as well and needs alot of work and the Net Radio is another custom block I'm working on which will be for Christian radio streams. Calendar is someones work and the rest of the blocks are pretty much included with nuke. Have not even gotten to the forums yet but they exist and need alot of work. The theme is awesome of course. No popups or adds and it all loads quite nice.

Oh and dont bother with registering, I have not set up notifications or agreements yet. That may be the last thing I do. Everything is visible to visitors at this point.
