  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

I've read both 'This Present Darkness' and 'Piercing The Darkness' in high school and I loved them both. Very good reads. Highly recommended even if it is "fiction."

From what I've read of his so far....these two are still my favorites.

never read anything of his, what does he write about?
I read several of them a few years ago and they are pretty good Christian fiction. He gives a good behind the scenes look at what is happening with spiritual warfare. He brings to life the unseen battle between the Angels of God and the demons of hell as they battle for our souls. The stories are placed into the context of someones life. They experience what we see and experience. The books illustrate what is causing those experiences.

After reading one of his books you will want to shut yourself away in prayer and put on the armor of God in order to do battle.

I read one or two of his books around 15 or 20 years ago, when they were the Hot New Thing. They were ok. It's good to remember that they are FICTION based on HIS INTERPRETATION of Scripture in regard to prayer, angels, demons, etc.
