The passage makes it clear that the interpretation of the prophecy is not by the prophet; the Syriac Peshitta reading implies that no prophecy is an exposition of itself.

So for example, people who lack the baptism of the Holy Spirit have nothing to prevent them from ignoring those scriptural texts which attest to the deity of our Lord, owing to an eisegesis based on texts that they perceive, unaided by the Spirit and the Church, to contradict the true faith of His eternal Godhood.

In the same way, people can misinterpret vast amounts of scripture as a result of a superabundance of self-confidence and a lack of ecclesiastical and pneumatological assistance. And this is why there have always been so many false gospels of the sort we are warned of in Galatians 1:8.

You are telling me that I cannot know what a beast is in Revelation that is clearly defined in Daniel because...?
