I met someone recently that has a tattoo of the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse. Is that demonic or weird or evil? What are your opinions about someone getting that as a tattoo (I'm not asking what you think about tattoos in general...that's not my point, my point is THAT particular tattoo).

I'll let you into a secret - in my crazy younger days I had a 10 inch diameter blood red pentacle tattooed in the centre of my back. It even has blood drops dripping from it. It is extremely well done from a tattoo art standpoint.

You know what it means? Absolutely nothing - I thought it was some cool **** to do when I was 17.

I vaguely knew David Icke long before the psychosis struck. My older brother was a soccer goalkeeper years ago when Icke was. Icke was always "strange" to say the least but not to the extremes you see today.

In fact - when I first heard about the new David Icke I didn't at first put two and two together and realise it was the ex-goalkeeper turned BBC sportscaster guy that I knew 30+ years ago.

To the gal who asked if the four horseman were something evil, the intent for the picture in the tatoo was probably meant to be menacing, but in the scriptures, they are a part of seal judgments that are open by Christ, and revealed by the four living creatures. It is my belief that they are judgments against the kingdom of the Beast. Satan's imitation "kingdom of God." So they would not have any real evil symbolism that would contain any occult power.

To the "theologians" that have to try giving "mind numbing" interpretations to prophetic symbols; settle down. The problem is that the Holy Spirit never intended the scriptures to be used as a means of divining the future. So the revelation of the correct identity of prophetic symbols are only given "after the fact." Or in other words, after the event has already occurred.

The word apocalypse does not appear in the bible but it is understood in the english language to do with anything that speaks of the end times.

It baffles me if one is a Christian why you would get tattoos (in defience of Lev 19:28) at all and if you had them before conversion whatever they depict has been covered by Calvary anyway. That said it is well to recognise that the four horseman represent the prevailing spiritual plight of mankind during the unfolding of the various stages of Revelation and certainly of no benefit to be depicted to glorify God

I immediately regretted getting a tattoo and stopped it 1/2 way through.

Well, I love my tattoo. (I have a Chi-Rho on my left inner wrist) I don't regret it. It does nothing but glorify God. And you would NOT BELIEVE the testimony it has presented to non-believers for Christ. I"m constantly explaining the symbol to people...it gives me an opportunity to glorify God and share him with others. I'd never regret it. Never.
