Im worried that shearing ANYthing thats personal here will only encourge christians here to "pray for me". but this will only drive me further away from you god. I hate god And I can personaly NEVER forgive him nor will I EVER accept christ. SO im worried that this forum will not be helpful when it comes to my own personal problems. even though i was sent here under a mods advice...Im unsure what to do. I wanna cry out for help but not in a room full of lions. get my metaphore.
Is this to much to ask?

How can you hate someone you don't believe in?

I'm so sorry that you have been so hurt by the church or by God or whatever the situation is. I recently had a pretty bad time with God myself, and it took me about 6 months to get over it (actually, I tried to get over it, but in the end He had to come to me and fix things Himself).

You are right about that, thankfully.

but this will only drive me further away from you god.
Interesting slip. Sounds like you are adressing Him. I don't believe you are really an atheist - only someone who's having a hard time and blaming the wrong spiritual being for his troubles. God is good, the devil is bad.

I hate god And I can personaly NEVER forgive him nor will I EVER accept christ.
As Chris said, how can you hate someone you don't believe in?

SO im worried that this forum will not be helpful when it comes to my own personal problems.
I have wondered why they have this section and the "prayer requests by Non-Christians" section - because we who do love the Lord are eventually going to get down to the ultimate Answer - Jesus..... Honestly I think there are many problems that cannot be satisfactorily resolved without Him. Actually, "without Him" is to me kind of a strange thing to say - because it is by His grace that all of us continue to live and exist - Christians and non-Christians alike.

I wanna cry out for help but not in a room full of lions. get my metaphore.
Yeah, I got your metaphor - but lions seek to destroy. We seek to embrace and give life. We are not lions - we are sheep.

Is this to much to ask?
I'm sure there are some people here who believe in Jesus who think that it's okay for you to continue along in your claims to be an atheist and follow that path. They'll probably be glad to "help" you.

blessings on you through Christ

Dear AmericanHCA,
Hi, You are completely anonymous here so you don't have to worry. I wonder too why you are worried. Do tell us not to pray for you in the post, and most people will respect that, though we are already praying for you.

We really have heard many many stories on both here and in the believer only forum so please don't be shy. We're all messed up, we all mess up, and we all have big problems, most of us anyway.

Just want you to feel free to write, since you are anonymous. Take care, tapero

Hello again! Well, what is confusing is that you are a hard core atheist yet you are angered/despise and hate the very thing you claim doesn't exist. That gives kinda double messages. If I don't believe snow exists, how can I be angry or hate it?

ok to answer some of the questions. Yes something bad did happen to me that brought up all this anger and hate.
only drive me further away from you god
Im srry that was a spelling mistake you=your.
If you're really an atheist, I don't see how our praying for you should make any difference in your mind. After all, you believe there's no god to answer our prayers.

If I may ask, why did you come here?
Your right my bad srry as a deconvert sometimes the thought proccess sneaks up on me. I've only been an atheist for less then 4 years. As for coming here Im beging to think weather I should or not, whatever I chose will be decided soon.
Forgive God for what ?
All the bad stuff in my life that "he" should be held for.
How can you hate someone you don't believe in?
I use to believe most likely more than most kids my age at the time. At the time I had one book the Bible.
I thank you for your kindness but my beef is not with the church, only with god or if not god himself then the ideas behind the belief. And if god cared he would have took care of this a long time ago.
Yeah, I got your metaphor - but lions seek to destroy. We seek to embrace and give life. We are not lions - we are sheep
Um last time I was in a christian chat room and I shared what happened. They couldn't wait to "turn me back to god" It got so bad I had to log out and haven't gone back since. Thats why I used that metaphore.
What is it about God that you dislike so much? Did something personally happen that made you come to dislike Him so greatly?
You don't really want to know about how much pain and angush I have gone through in the name of your god. If I was to put it on the forum about all that has happened to me in the name of god. I wouldn't be suripised if they banned me. As it might be "bad" for the forums and what they stand for.
Hating imaginary beings is crazy.
man you have no clue how many times I think im losing my mind.
You say your an athesist, any chance a satanist?
Im an exsatanist and also an exchristian and exjew so from time to time you might see flashes of these thought prosses in my posts. I had to get away from satanism not because of what they teach but because its to much like christianty just a diffrent master in my opion.

Thank you for posting I hope that this has helped to answer your questions.

Ummm...somewhat. Does it matter?
Somewhat..... From my observations alot of goths are christians that hate God or their parents whom they relate to god or their enviornment which they relate to god.... So the usual outcome is the spawning is Sub atheist christians that are angry will do alot of things to try and fit into any group that will accept them while denying they want to be a part of a group..... but thats all uneducated observations so give it no weight.

Natro, you are very observant. I went through that stage myself, briefly. I personally believe that this young fellow is going to return to God eventually, and there is nothing he or anyone else can do to make it happen any sooner or to prevent it. Once a person has experienced genuine conversion, the Lord never completely forsakes him. Whether he likes it or not. I remember praying that God would kill me, and thinking that since it didn't happen, there must be no god, or if there was he surely mustn't be a merciful god like the one in the Bible. I was wrong. He loved me more than I loved myself.

blessings in Him

I was in your place myself several years ago. I claimed to hate a god that I did not want to believe in. I sounded exactly like you! I understand exactly where you are coming from. We are not suppose to be lions. Some are. They attack and do not realize it. They are defending their faith and God. Some people pray because they think that that is what they are suppose to do, some because they really care! Please do not think harshly of us.

Perhaps because God loves you so much, He's waiting for you instead?

I asked God to take away my pride,
And God said "No".
He said it was not Him to take away,
But for me to give up.
I asked God to make my suffering child whole,
And God said "No".
He said her spirit is whole,
Her body is only temporary.
I asked God to grant me patience,
And God said "No".
He said that patience is a by-product of tribulation,
It isn't granted; it's earned.
I asked God to give me happiness,
And God said, "No".
He said He gives blessings,
Happiness is up to me.
I asked God to spare me pain.
And God said, "No".
He said suffering draws you apart from worldly cares,
And brings you closer to me.
I asked God to make my spirit grow,
And God said "No".
He said I must grow on my own,
But He will prune me to make me fruitful.
I asked God if He loved me,
And God said "Yes".
He gave me His only beloved son who died for me,
And I will be in heaven someday because I believe.
I asked God to help me love others,
As much as He loves me,
And God said:
"Ah, finally you have the idea."

You judge God based on something that didn't go your way. I ask you, if life down here was so great, why would we need Heaven? You're spending too much time, putting too much emphasis on hate, based on something that must not have went your way, and diverting it towards God. As it's been said before, we are all sheep, but there are times to be lions, also. Jesus Himself became angry and chased gamblers from a temple, didn't He?

All I can say is you're being selfish. When you say "I hate God", I hear "I'm hurting from something that didn't go my way." You know, I spent a long time believing that Christianity was a crutch for people who couldn't cope with life, only to find that I'm crippled without it. The more time you dwell on hate, the quicker you'll grow depressed. A life of hate and sadness... what are you gaining through that? There is peace beyond understanding with God. I ask you to stop focusing on what went wrong and focus on He who can make it right again. "Suffering draws you apart from earthly cares, and brings you closer to Me."

My PM box is always open.

In Christ,

Blake

LOL! A 'shrink' in the making, I'm thinking. Pretty observant even if it turns out to be wrong (and I'm not saying it is wrong either, since I don't know the person).

American: one thing I learned is that if I was told something and I felt it might have been a lie later on, I went and researched it some more. You are still young. You have a lot of living ahead of you, hopefully, but life's too short to form such strong opinions and not explore them deeper to see if you are right about them or not. If you wonder why God would allow bad things to happen to you, as you have suggested, then ask that question on here in the Questions by non-believers forum. People will give you a variety of answers but will generally give you something similar to each other. This question is a long one to answer and does require knowing an overview of the bible. And ya know what? Sometimes there are no easy answers and sometimes there are no answers at all. That's why Christians just have to sometimes reach out in faith and prayer just to accept things as they are.

BTW: One thing scripture is clear on...God does not spare us from the evil of this world. It says he will be with us as things happen, he will hold us up, help us bear it, but our home is not this earth and so we won't have a perfect 'life' until we reach heaven, which is where all this 'faith' is headed. So no christian is immune to trials and tribulations. We all go through it. Our whole lives. It's our faith that helps us through it. God does answer prayer for help in calamities but does so for His purposes, for His glory.

Personally, I made the decision eventually that I'd rather face life with God holding my hand through trials than to have only my own 'power' to see me through things.

Hmm, in America maybe, but I don't know any and I know quite a few.
But, as you said, it was an uneducated observation

Being a goth is not a phase. You're either one or you ain't.
