long ago and far away we used to have a forum where the membership could report technical issues that they were having with Cf.

I see that it has disappeared now, but perhaps it would be a good idea to bring it back? I realize that our technical gurus have a lot of 'behind the scenes' work to do every day, but using the extra eyes of the membership in the reporting of problems might actually help rather than being a hindrance around here.

Any way, I have a 502 (bad gateway) to report in OBOB.

I think it would be really really helpful to do some pruning and renaming of forums as concerns tech related issues. I figure if I was confused trying to poke around and find things I can only imagine what it must be like for a new user... and rather than going through forum after forum, most folks will probably leave.

On the other hand, its possible likely my account has still some legacy settings in the mysql so maybe newer users dont have a bunch of locked / private forums to have to scroll through to find stuff. If its just my account, don't worry about it, but if its the same setup for all users, it probably ought to be fixed.

If it is just me and someone is big into mysql and doing account by account repairs, I would be most grateful. Ie, I'm not sure this can be configured in the super admin functions in the admincp, or even in the config.php... but its been nearly a decade and upteen software upgrades since then, so I have no idea.
