hey,
Yall I was wondering if you could pray for me, I can't seem to forgive myself of all the screwups I have made the past three months and i know deep down that God has forgiven me and forgotten about it but i can't forgive myself because God trusted me to stand firm and tried me but i didn't stand firm and i can never be trusted again.

No prob. I actually haven't prayed much for people on the forums in a few weeks. Pray earnestly with faith and it will be given unto you. God's forgiveness is at easy access. TTYL Jesus loves you, baby sister in Christ! (jk, wanted to see how you'd react cause my brother hates it when I call him my baby brother. He's actually 13 months younger. You're a freshman in high school now!)

Sometimes when we have a hard time forgiving ourselves it's because we stand in our own judgment of our sins. We are convicted through the spirit so we can see the error of our own ways, If we didn't go through this, then how else would we learn from our mistakes. I feel if we didn't go through this time of judging ourselves, then we would only keep repeating the same mistakes over, and over again, never learning how to correct ourselves. So we must Thank God for showing us the error of our ways, and ask him to guide our steps so we don't fall into the same trap again. Sometimes when we fall, It only makes us stronger when we are helped back onto our feet. It's not so much God that needs to trust us, But us that need to trust God.

Ask yourself: if God forgives you why can’t you forgive yourself. Nothing is too horrible to be forgiven. Visualize this with closed eyes: If there could be a pool of blood in front of you and you take all your wrong doings, sins, sickness and whatever burden and cast it into this pool of blood. Will it then matters, what lays on the surface of this pool? No, that is what the blood of Jesus is there for, to forgive our sins. Acknowledge that you have made a mistake, get forgiveness from God and yourself and move on with your life.

We all fall from time to time, and its not about the falling but about the rise up again.

GG, you didn't screw up as bad as Peter did.
I screwed up pretty bad and I didn't screw up as bad a Peter did.
Even so, God still used Peter's life to do some amazing things.
I like to think about Peter a lot cause I feel the same way you do.

No matter how hard we try we will always mess up. That is why it is important to realize that it is not us that do good, but Christ that lives in us. He knew you were going to mess up; He knows all things. He's already died for all of our sins. Just look to Christ. Remember that we have died with Him on the cross. It is not we who live any longer, but He who lives in us. He is the One who never messes up. A lot of times through our mess ups God teaches us something. I'm praying for you. God is there with you, inside of you!
