if God told (peter maybe, not sure) to forigve 70x7, what after that what if God doesn't forgive anymore than that??

& a scripture says that you cannot know Jesus is the way without the Holy Spirit telling you, but what if He tells you, does that mean He could have told you but you could have committed the uf-sin and you would still know but it wouldn't matter??? do you get me?

Im starting to doubt if I really believe or If it's real. Ive done this before but now Im afraid it may be because i committed the uf-sin...

If im not mistakin, when Jesus told him to forgive 70x7, i think what He was getting at is " hey peter, your gonna have to forgive a lot" not just forgive 70x7, He was just saying to forgive a lot.

And to your answer about the blasphemy of the Holy Spirit, whenever the pharisees commited it, they wasnt wanting Jesus. They were denying Him, and who He was. If you commited it, then you wouldnt want Jesus. You would want to do sinful things all the time , and enjoy every minute of it. But from what it looks like, your dont like sin, and your worried about commiting it. Lost people dont want Jesus, only His sheep want Him, and He laid down His life for those sheep. I know its very difficult, im going through this very same thing. I experiance the same feelings. I will be praying for you.

Exactly. I know what you mean though. Like you were given a revelation but didn't truly accept it and you are worried you know He is the way but you can't go the way. Let me ask you this? Do you think God is going to give you this revelation that Jesus is the way, give you the desire to follow Him, and then not let you into heaven?

That's the devil talking. The Father of lies. God cannot lie. God is not going to lie to you Caty. He's not going to bring you all the way to Jesus and then say NOPE NOT YOU CATY. Wouldn't that be God lying? You already know God doesn't lie. You have to trust what He says. And He says 'He who comes to me I will in NO WISE CAST OUT' and also 'No one can come to me but the Father draws Him first.'

What does this mean, if God says this, AND we know God doesn't lie????

It means:

1) You aren't coming to Jesus on your own. The Father is drawing you to Jesus. How do we know? Because GOD SAID SO, and GOD CANNOT LIE.

2) Caty wants to come to Jesus, but she's worried Jesus won't take her. BUT GOD SAYS: 'If Caty comes to me (JUST HOW SHE IS) I will in no wise cast her out.' And we know, GOD CANNOT LIE.

Now aren't these wonderful promises from our Father? Are you going to trust what He says? Cause God is there and He said what He said and He meant it. It's up to you to believe Him.

It is just ocd trying to trick you into thinking you may not believe.Ocd is trying to add to your fears and doubts .
Caty you are so very obviously a believer.
The point Jesus was making to Peter was to just keep on forgiving,give up trying to count how many times,just live forgiving.
If Jesus stopped forgiving us after 490 times no one would make it.
Anyways as the heavens are higher than the earth so are God's ways higher than ours.
Caty it is impossible to want to come to your Saviour without Father God drawing you.
Jesus said he that cometh to Me I will in no wise cast out.
Jesus is Truth.
Jesus delights in mercy.
Mercy triumphs over justice.
Nothing is impossible to Jesus who came to save not condemn.
I went through this so I understand your pain Caty and so does Jesus.
Jesus came to heal the broken hearted and set at liberty them who are bruised.
Jesus says come to Me ALL ye who labour and are heavy laden and I will give you rest.Jesus says ALL.All includes you.
Jesus says he that cometh to Me I will in no wise cast out.
Jesus is Truth.
The gifts and calling of Jesus are without repentance.
You are safe and loved and protected by your Saviour caty and Jesus is mighty to save.
You do not have to do anything to earn Jesus love and forgiveness,Just come as you are.
