Forgive me for my twisted mind

This former guy, now girl (or this guy now trapped in a woman's body)

  • can have sex with other men

  • can have sex with other women

  • must never have sex again

  • (I have no idea)

First of all, let me say that it is clear from the scriptures that homosexuality is a sin and worthy of the death penalty.

My mind sometimes goes to lengths to try to answer every scenario....and I come up with something that sort of stumped me.

Let’s say that a male had a sex change. This male then repents and starts following Jesus and God's law. With what sex can this former guy, now girl (or guy now trapped in a woman's body) have sexual relations with?

Ughh no...you are confessing your lack of Scripture knowledge. That was a pagan worship/idolatry ceremonial practice being condemned in Scriptures (Leviticus 18 and 20).

See the word Tow'ebah, and you will see.

As for your answer...whoever they fall in love with!

Lev 20:13
If a man also lie with mankind, as he lieth with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination: they shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them.

I don't have the time to debate that this scripture means anything else than what it says. I am sure there are many other threads where you can debate the meaning of that verse. I was just wondering about the scenario that I posted.

Read this, I'm tired of repeating it, but I did answer your question in an earlier post.

So let's understand this...

You want all active homosexuals to be put to death?

I am not God; I don't have the authority or power to make the laws. There is a lot of things that I do and don't do just because God says do it. I want to have sex with my girl friend but God's word says that fornicators "shall not inherit the kingdom of God." (Gal 5) and since God is the Creator, the Law Giver and King of Kings, He is the one who decides who will inherit the kingdom and who will not. I think I'll do what He says.

We should follow God's laws (whether we want to or not).

I think maybe you should look up the word "fornicators" in your online dictionary.

Ok

From Merriam-Webster:

Main Entry: for·ni·ca·tion
Pronunciation: "for-n&-'kA-sh&n
Function: noun
: consensual sexual intercourse between two persons not married to each other

http://www.m-w.com/dictionary/fornication
"simple fornication" is adultery, and your definition defines other fornication.

The question is, how do you define marriage?

Well, I'd pick the first two options, but it's not possible to pick more than one here. But I don't consider homosexuality to be anything wrong, so I'd pick that for any other person as well.

By the way, why should someone repent from having a sex change? It doesn't make sense to me...

In my opinion, this person must never have sex again. For one thing, God creates us as one gender. It is an abomination to change your God given gender.
where is that stipulated?

Could you never have sex again?

I agree:)
I can't vote, because I agree with both the first two options. Some people are genuinely born in the wrong body- they are supposed to be the opposite sex. They should act according to who they are inclined to; men or women, or stay celibate if that's what they want.

Yes... I agree with you too :)

It doesn't make sense to force someone to become celibate by making some weird rules... then it becomes sexual repression and it's bad for a person. Celibacy can be only good if the person honestly wants it, and is always allowed to stop it.
