This Christian rap song beautifully expresses my prayers to God and my hopes to my family and friends.

Whew, this song is pretty serious. Forgiveness is important skill for all of us, and God can forgive us through Jesus. This song has a lot of melody, back when rap was a good genre (1990s). We need this style of rap in 2024. Apparently, the song is from 2007, but it gives me strong 1990s 2PAC - Dear Mama vibes. The verses below are relevant to Christ's forgiveness. There are too many verses that relate to forgiveness, but these two are the ones that I have covered in devotionals.

Ephesians 4:31-32 (NIV): "Get rid of all bitterness, rage and anger, brawling and slander, along with every form of malice. Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you."

Hebrews 9:12-14 (NIV): "He did not enter by means of the blood of goats and calves; but he entered the Most Holy Place once for all by his own blood, thus obtaining eternal redemption. The blood of goats and bulls and the ashes of a heifer sprinkled on those who are ceremonially unclean sanctify them so that they are outwardly clean. How much more, then, will the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself unblemished to God, cleanse our consciences from acts that lead to death, so that we may serve the living God!"

Praise God for only the forgiveness that comes from Him and through Him. I pray that we Christians will learn that when we forgive anyone who has wronged us we can have the spiritual and emotional healing that comes with forgiveness. I pray that we will never abuse God's grace and forgiveness and that we will love Him and serve Him each and every day.

Praise God for only the forgiveness that comes from Him and through Him. I pray that we Christians will learn that when we forgive anyone who has wronged us we can have the spiritual and emotional healing that comes with forgiveness. I pray that we will never abuse God's grace and forgiveness and that we will love Him and serve Him each and every day.

It can be hard for me to forgive others, but God has helped soften my heart, and great healing happens when I forgive others. Had a grudge with a coworker since April that was healed in September 25th. I forgave her, and we became friends and had lunch last Friday.

I pray that God can help us forgive others who have wronged us, just as Jesus forgave us. Oh wait, this is part of the Lord's Prayer: "Forgive us of our trespasses, just as we forgive others who trespass against us. But deliver us from evil, for yours is the Kingdom, Power and Glory. Now and forever. Amen." (Matthew 6:12-13 + prayer ending)
