Eph 6:

Luke 22:32 but I have prayed for you, that your faith will not fail;

Rom 1:
9 For God, whom I serve in my spirit in the preaching of the gospel of His Son, is my witness as to how unceasingly I make mention of you, 10 always in my prayers requesting if perhaps now, at last by the will of God, I will succeed in coming to you. 11 For I long to see you so that I may impart some spiritual gift to you, that you may be established;

Eph 1:
16 do not cease giving thanks for you, while making mention of you in my prayers;

James 5:14 Is anyone among you sick? Then he must call for the elders of the church and they are to pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord; 15 and the prayer of faith will restore the one who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up, and if he has committed sins, they will be forgiven him. 16 Therefore, confess your sins to one another, and pray for one another so that you may be healed. He wants everyone to come into His family, the family of God.
He wants them to call upon the name of the Lord to get then there. His name is Jesus.
Pray that He moves upon them with His Spirit, and that He sends harvesters to work the fields.

I pray for people around the world. I don't know them or what God does for them. I pray for relatives; I don't know why they are unkind.

I don't think harvesters show up. If people are attending church, why are they unkind?

Most of my prayers are giving thanks to God for taking care of me.

What does God want and what will He do?

God wants us to have faith in Him, to trust Him, to love Him and each other, God will always do what is best for us, that is what love is all about, doing what is best for another.

"I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men;

For kings, and for all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty.

What does God want and what will He do?

Well Gods will is His word. That's what He wants. I understand many can not see do not understand that God just can't do anything He wants in this world since it belongs to Satan. As Christ said when they took Him ..if this was my kingdom my servants would fight not allowing you to take me. He said Satan is the god of this world. It was our we handed it over to him as he said when he showed Christ the wonders of this world in a moments time said this mine it was handed/given to me and I can give it to anyone I want.

Why would God want us to remind Him of His word when we know He never forgets? Hmm Christ once told Peter Satan has "asked" to swift you as wheat but I have prayed for you. Hmm Christ is talking about the spiritual realm and prayed for Him. That reminds me of OT where God was about to Judge and said He looked for one from among them to build a wall to stand in the gap so He would not have to yet He found none.

Ooooh there is a reason we pray. Even in small things like when my baby boy was about 4-5 and in preschool haha he always would hang around Adena yet she would have nothing to do with him. So one say I told him will pray I told him when were young its so easy for us to hear God for He can whisper like no other. Maybe a week or two as we were about to leave Adena stood up came over hugged him. HAHA ooh made him so happy.

So this battel is not with flesh and blood. Its not man we are wrestling with. So many times those "road blocks" we face in life we don't take it to the lord in prayer so He can help. Once I sad but went hitch hicking to see my girlfriend about 200 miles away. We prayed...so right from the start this car pulls over the man says " I have no idea why I picked you up.. I never pick up hitch hikers." God gave him the thought.. God knew he would listen. Yes got a ride all the way there and back.. God is so good. One has to have faith and KNOW ..believe. Always find what His word says and pray it

Let me be clear, God can do anything He wants to do on earth or anywhere else at no time is satan in charge of anything that God does not allow. Putting satan and God on an equal level is absolutely incorrect. Sorry brother but someone left you with a misunderstanding of Theology.

If all my relatives had been Christians, I think that would have been wonderful, including the ones I prayed for. I never consider the possibility that God is less powerful than created beings. But most people reading this aren't universalists.
