There are some lights around here called the Marfa lights, They show up in the mountains and race across an open field, change colors and dance around, and no one can figure out where they come from

Its been years since I have seen them, but I found this site and it describes them pretty well. There are a few pictures on this site as well Things have changed since I saw them, now its a big celebration at this town.
