I've always found the idea of infinite punishment for finite crimes for people created to have free will and loved by god morally reprehensible. On this alone, I consider myself to have a highter morality than the god described in the Bible.I didn't choose to stay neutral. I chose to actively show that the people making god claims are wrong.
I hope I get to experience those 2 seconds in hell before I die so I can change my mind, then. It's sadly unsurprising that Christians feel that they have to threaten people with hell. You'd figure the evidence would be convincing enough for everyone to believe, if God really cared about our souls.
Yup --Let me say this in a nutshell for those that don't believe in God, and deny Him.......2 seconds in hell will change their mind
And the unregenerate will stand before Him with no proof, either. In a nutshell, there is no proof for your god.
Perhaps it would help if I worded it this way;
I've seen His Spirit because He revealed Himself to me. Better?
I would only be speaking metaphorically if i didn't believe that the the Spirit was present, and merely having blind faith say such a thing. But I don't believe my faith is blind.
The flood is controversial, but in reference to your dinosaurs there is a verse in Job where a Leviathan or behemoth is mentioned (a very large beast with a long tail) in Job 40:15-24.
?What makes my head turn is...if there is no God, why is everyone so eager to disprove Him

Yup --
What's sad, is that what many of them are believing in -- mainly the physical universe -- is going to abandon them when they go to the Great White Throne Judgment.
Revelation 20:11 And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them.
They beg and beg us for evidence, but when the time comes, they aren't going to have one shred themselves; and what little evidence we do give them -- if any -- isn't going to count.
No, I don't have "all figured out". I don't believe I will ever have it "all figured out." But then again, this is non sequitur.
Personally, I strive to see things as they are. Life is much simpler this way, and narrows the possibility of cognitive dissonance.
All I am pointing out, which seems to escape you, is that when one makes a positive claim, e.g., there is a god, it is reasonable to ask why.

Más sabe el diablo y temblor.I think burning in hell after I die would be pretty convincing evidence that the evil god of the Bible is real. So, I'd probably believe.
Your faith. What would we need evidence of when standing in front of God?
Asking questions is dangerous only in the sense of having the courage to acept what the evidence reasonably suggests. Which is why I'm of the general opinion that theists who have become atheist know the Bible better than theists.Good point. Keep on striving to figure it (If anyone thought they knew all the answers that would not be good lol).
Despite are disaggreements, I can still understand that all people do not think the same way. Asking why can be dangerous, you may not get the answer you expected.
Más sabe el diablo y temblor.
But you did. In not taking any interest in that topic, you chose to stay neutral (To stand still in the illustration above). Don't you see that to do nothing is a choice?
Your faith.

Sorry -- a ... ahem ... little attempt at making this point:hmmm... what? The devil knows more and tremble?
My point t is that if I saw hell I'd have evidence of it. How does your answer relate?
Sorry -- a ... ahem ... little attempt at making this point:
James 2:19 Thou believest that there is one God; thou doest well: the devils also believe, and tremble.
What's that story about the house that burned down, and the occupants were on the roof; and a man comes by in a boat, but they reject him; then another man in a boat; and they reject him; and finally a helicopter, which they also reject? It seems like he didn't do a good enough job trying to reach me as he already knew.
Let me say this in a nutshell for those that don't believe in God, and deny Him.......2 seconds in hell will change their mind
Ya, you have --Ah! That makes more sense. I was hoping it had nothing to do with the Japanese earthquake.
Well, that's fine and dandy but unlike me, the Devil and demons have seen God, the Devil, and hell, at least. They have evidence. I have seen this earth, no God, no Devil, no demons, no angels, no hell, no Heaven.
What else kinds of questions are there?I didn't mean those kind of questions. It's also dual to note that a lot of atheists trying to disprove the bible have become flaming Christians.
