  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

but my dear friend needs your prayers.  She's going in for a c section tomorrow at noon eastern time to deliver her precious baby girl. She has 2 older boys and this baby is a miracle from God.  She was diagnosed with non hodgkins lymphoma about a year and a half ago and was told she wouldn't be able to have any more children.  This was devastating to her as she wanted a girl SO badly.  Last November after she finished her treatment she and people in her family started having dreams that she had a daughter.  Tomorrow that daughter will finally be here!  The concern is that they think the placenta has possibly grown into the scar from her previous c section. If that is the case they will have to do a hysterectomy.  She doesn't want that to happen!  They would really like to have more children.  Please pray that the placenta is has not grown into the scar and that if it has that God would miraculously move the placenta away from the scar between now and surgery tomorrow.
