She just is.

But recently. I was having a bad day. And then to top everything off I forgot my lunch.

We both work at the Library but in different units. But our schedules are almost exactly the same except Nicolle is one hour earlier than me.

So I go on lunch at 5pm and at my desk is lunch. Not just any lunch, but all my favorites from downtown.

That's what she spent her lunch doing. Because she knew it would make my day and I was having a bad one.

Good thing, I only had to walk about 300 feet to go tell her that she indeed had made my day and that I love her for that and everyhitng else that makes her...just her.

Seriously, though, David...your wife sounds awfully sweet and thoughtful. Small sacrifices done with love are so essential to a good marriage. Bless you both.

Laura does a number of things: picks me up my favorite candy (Reese's Peanut Butter Cups) or my favorite pop/coffee/ice cream treat.

It's the little things. She's awesome and she tolerates me - thats favor enough.

I'm not very romantic and I don't really appreciate romance much. I have very specific tastes so I am hard to buy gifts for. I require really only two things out of a relationship, good food and lots of it, and good sex and lots of it. If those needs are being met I could not be happier. A little companionship is a bonus. and I need to be with someone who is not too sensitive. I can't stand cryers. I cannot tollerate a partner who prefers watching her favorite TV show to going out and living. My list of "don't likes" is way longer than my list of "likes".
