A Christian has to believe "in one God the Father Almighty, Maker of heaven and earth, And of all things visible and invisible." The amount of hostility shown by Creationists towards Christians who don't believe it happened during six days in October, 4004 BC is nothing but an effort to drive them from Christ.
Not a bad idea. Sola Scriptura, to the lengths that Creationists have driven it, is a mistake.
So? Sometimes it's necessary to "add to the Bible." You don't suppose that I believe in the real physical death and miraculous resurrection of Christ just because "it says so in the Bible" do you?Besides going outside of the bible...you add to the bible especially concerning original sin.

Science doesn't "trump" Scripture. Science and Scripture really have very little to do with one another. If anything "trumps" Scripture, it's Tradition.Considering you seem to think science trumps scripture I wonder if you believe in the scientifically imposible resurrection of a dead man on day 3. I would assume you do believe that historical event. I would also think a Christian would believe the creation/fall account despite people thinking science has trumped Genesis or what Paul has taught us.
Evolutionism is heretical as it contradicts the bible.
Don't do it. That's their scheme, to "purify" the faith by driving from salvation in Christ all who will not submit to their interpretation of scripture. Don't fall for it; keep true to your faith in Christ whatever they say.
Actually, YHWH says this is okay.So for me, and many others I'm sure, it's either theistic evolution or we simply can not believe in Christianity.
Wow that's pretty harsh. Drive them from Christ? That's not it at all. We creationists want to drive you away from the ungodly evolution and toward the truth of scripture. If one were to chose to leave Christ because of this then the faith they had was not in Christ but in science.A Christian has to believe "in one God the Father Almighty, Maker of heaven and earth, And of all things visible and invisible." I'm not one to say one isn't a Christian if they believe in evolution over the bible, but I am one who believes they have been deceived. But we all need to acknowledge that Christians can be deceived by some things and still remain a Christian as long as they believe in the Lord Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior.
Then why do you all work so hard to convince people that it is impossible to believe in Christ unless they also believe in a literal Genesis? No other explanation accounts for the hostility, the snide comments about "so-called Christians" and the like. Atheists are treated with more civility.Wow that's pretty harsh. Drive them from Christ? A few hundred years ago,There wasn't a church with four hours drive I would have been welcome in anyway.
In thousands of years , until recently when man's theories gained prominence over YHWH'S REVEALED PLAN and YHWH'S WORD ?
They were not at all until around 1700.There were and are everywhere except where Fundamentalist Protestantism reigns.
Not talking about evolution, but about hostility towards Christians who don't accept the literal inerrancy of Scripture, many of whom don't believe in evolution either. They were not at all until around 1700.
Before then , there was no belief in man's theory of evolution in any church, ever.
It was developed after that by ungodly secular sources and promoted later by religious and non-religious groups that gave it prominence over YHWH'S REVEALED PLAN AND over YHWH'S WORD.
Well, have you looked recently at 95% of the threads on this site ?Not talking about evolution, but about hostility towards Christians who don't accept the literal inerrancy of Scripture, many of whom don't believe in evolution either.
Yes, we know--all Christians everywhere believed exactly what you believe about the Bible until the rest of us were led astray by Darwin.Well, have you looked recently at 95% of the threads on this site ?
Then, if YHWH did not GUARD HIS WORD OVER EVEN HIS OWN NAME,
what could anyone trust ?
No thanks,And if you think that's true, there's this really great bridge in Brooklyn that I can let you have for a knock-down price.
