  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

  • The rule regarding AI content has been updated. The rule now rules as follows:

    Be sure to credit AI when copying and pasting AI sources. Link to the site of the AI search, just like linking to an article.

Well, in case anyone doesn't yet know, Kevin has resigned from staff. :(

I would like to thank him for his efforts and say that it was a pleasure working with him as co-administrators. His presence will be missed. While I understand his decision (I often feel like resigning myself), since this is pretty much a high-stress, thankless job, I wish he would reconsider. Maybe you all can convince him. Whether you can or not, I think he deserves our thanks and gratitude for all his hard work.

I'm very sad :(:cry::(- from what I've seen so far in the staff areas Ksen is highly regarded and I was looking forward working with and learning lots from him.

So, Ksen - if you should reconsider I'll join in the happy dance.

Just don't stop posting - I really enjoy your wisdom.:thumbsup:
