What plans has God had for you in your life past and your life to come?
What plans has God had for you in your life past and your life to come?
What plans has God had for you in your life past and your life to come?
Who does that verse apply to? Who was it written to, and why?
Good verse. It's so important for us to consider how we ought to be in the current of God's will according to the Scriptures. This is one of my favourite scripture passages. It's so hopeful. Whatever happens in this world, God has something better planned for us.
What plans has God had for you in your life past and your life to come?
Now I know the future clearly but to describe the future takes belief on the part of all those who listen to My voice and obey My commandments
Great verses, and very comforting as now I am in a period where I'm needing a new job. It helps to be reminded that God is directing the outcome so long as I seek His will. Here's a few additional Scriptures:
"Even every one that is called by my name: for I have created him for my glory, I have formed him; yea, I have made him." Isa 43:7
-"The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord: and he delighteth in his way." Psa 37:23
-"A man's heart deviseth his way: but the Lord directeth his steps." Prov 16:9
-"There are many devices in a man's heart; nevertheless the counsel of the Lord, that shall stand." Prov 19:21
-"For thou hast possessed my reins: thou hast covered me in my mother's womb. 14 I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: marvellous are thy works; and that my soul knoweth right well. 15 My substance was not hid from thee, when I was made in secret, and curiously wrought in the lowest parts of the earth. 16 Thine eyes did see my substance, yet being unperfect; and in thy book all my members were written, which in continuance were fashioned, when as yet there was none of them" Psa 139:13-16 ++++
Now Your commanding us? I'm listening to your voice...what are Your commandments?
Great verses, and very comforting as now I am in a period where I'm needing a new job. It helps to be reminded that God is directing the outcome so long as I seek His will.
I don't know if your question is rhetorical or not, but I don't think living life is 100% God and 0% me. I have a part to play. For example, I need to be actively looking for a job as I trust God for the outcome. I just can't lie on the couch all day waiting for a job to come to me.Why do you need to seek something the Lord is giving you to experience life with? Each moment you experience life is what is given you to live.
