CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Dogma is an established belief that never changes. Science corrects itself when presented with new facts.
I'm going to bite my tongue now. But if you've got some evidence of Creationism there are 2 threads going right now on the front page you might want to look into.

Might I suggest that you do some research from scientific sources this time? You seem to be reading lots of Creationist sites, but almost no Evolution sites. If you want to argue against a group, see what they are actually saying rather than what others are telling you that they are saying. You might learn something along the way too.

If I had to guess (because all I'm doing now is speculating on what he could have possibly wanted to respond), it would be that the "creationists are idiots". Which is silly.

That's pretty close to accurate. Oh, there are some genuinely confused ones, stupid ones, and deliberately deceptive ones tryin' to make a buck off the innocently-deceived ones commonly known as "sheep". But don't forget that there has never been a single credible proponant of evangelical creationism anywhere ever, nor has there ever been a single verifiably accurate argument ever presented in favor of creationism, but what we do have is a staggering array of fools and liars dribbling all kinds of ridiculous nonsense most people whould rightly be ashamed of.
