Hi folks
I want you to know i care for everyone here. I seem to be at a personal crossroads.

It seems there is a division here at CC and to be honest i dont understand it all. I DO know i dont want to be a cause.

To be honest i felt this was a place where we could work together on conservative issues and fellowship in peace, and maybe i was wrong. I think that some folks would be more comfortable if i resigned my membership here. i will still fellowship from time to time and there are no hard feelings

I have lost the ability to keep track of all the issues here that led to all the arguments that ensued from them. There are so many threads here that are at least 8-10 pages long that seem to be comprised of multitudes of misunderstandings and I for one don't know who can have the time to keep track of all them or participate in them.

Frankly Time, I saw absolutely no improvement in the forum with your absence as opposed to your presence. The disputes aren't gonna stop simply because one person leaves, unless that one person happened to be a parasitic troll whose objective was to destroy the forum in some way or another (no LOL not saying that is you please)

I totally understand why you'de feel this way and how frustrating it can get, but I think over time it can snap back to normal.

Eric, I think it's really important to remember that each of us have friends here, but are also faced with members who could care less if we leave, and members who would be quite happy if we did. It's really not a matter of belonging (in truth, who really belongs? This world is not our home...). In the end, whether you maintain a CC membership title or not, you are still a valued member of this community. And you are not, by any means, the source of the problems here.

We all bear some responsibility for the unpleasantness - we have all said things we shouldn't have, and reacted to things others have said in a way that has escalated rather than resolved the conflict.
But you are no more responsible than anyone else!
And there is no reason for you to leave - you are loved and accepted here, even if we do disagree sometimes.

Yes, we all bear the burden of causing the problems at some point, and we all bear the burden of fixing it. Leaving, unless, it is just for a break is not the answer.

I said that too brother, and trust me, it can backfire on you as one of my threads shows... just sit tight and put God ahead. He'll have to open the doors that can be opened; we need to just fellowship & unwind & let God do His work and a way will eventually open up.

The problem that I see is that some folks are mad at the fact that Time's ban was removed. Some of these folks are out to try and get Time banned again so they come here in the hopes that they can find a post that they can report and therefore, accumulate enough to get him banned again.
Well, you know guys, it is time to stop this trolling by not giving them the opportunity. Let God guide us.

You disappoint me time. After all the drama and all the mess you quit. I would never sacrifice sound doctrine for unification and the cause was to bring this entire forum...not JUST CC to Christ again.

What I was referring to was essential doctrine not the pillar of relativism which heathen4u.ms now represents. Here in CC we are ( at least in theory) unified in an umbrella of orthodoxy.

BTW what in the world is SoF...man we need to get a page going with all of these shortcuts.

Sometimes we have let things alone. I am reminded of what God told Israel about Ephraim at a time when they, had as a tribe, left off following God and corrupted themselves.
