Suppose that Trump gets back in office and your personal situation improves do you dislike Trump so much that you would still want him out of office just because he is Trump?

Yes. He is the most immoral leader I know in all of American history.

I'm not seeing it. I'm no fan of Biden, but I think he's done a reasonable job as president. Meanwhile, I honestly rate Trump as the worst president the US ever had, and I'm directly comparing him to Buchanan and Andrew Johnson. Strangely enough, a lot of historians seem to agree with me.

I'm not fond of all of Biden's policies, but I could say that of any politician. His biggest problem is that he's old, but he has a backup. Ignoring the age thing for a moment, he's a glaringly stereotypical Democrat. I could understand rejecting Biden if you couldn't accept ANY Democrat, but I see no reason to single him out as somehow being worse than Trump.

I fail to see how Republican policies are going to help with rising housing costs. It seems to me that Republicans typically favor rising home values for investment purposes. Am I missing something? What would Trump do to help out?

The Democrats fail to help out the middle class with housing costs, but at least they're big on coming up with affordable housing for the poor. Better than nothing, I guess. The Democrats also push for higher minimum wage so people can better afford the costs, although that has its own problems.

If you're complaining about Democrat policies here, then:
- Identify the specific policies that are resulting in the problems.
- Identify Trump polices that would address those problems (without being empty promises).

Otherwise, ya got nothin'.

You can stop pretending now, everyone knows it’s not deep fake videos or right wing propaganda
What has this to do with me or my statement? (Hint: Nothing.) My point was that you don't hear these sorts of things from people who work regularly with Joe Biden. They don't make these sorts of claims about his "incapacity".

It’s a good thing theyre good with housing because those 9 million people they let in the last 3 years need somewhere to live. Maybe they’re driving up housing costs?

No, we’ve constantly heard them saying he’s at the top of his game, sharp as a tack. I guess you believe that

You tell me. Is that your conclusion? You seem to be reaching for a connection. You could just identify Democrat policies on illegal immigration as a problem without trying to tie it to housing, since there are indeed all sorts of problems related to that.

Stopping illegal immigration is a big focus for Trump. He promises far more than he can deliver, and he does his best to feed paranoia about the problem, but there's no question that he'll work to fight illegal immigration to some degree. With all the paranoia being spread around, I can certainly understand many voters making it a top issue.

Personally, I don't worry much about the issue. It's been around a very long time.

Not at the level it has been for the last three years

NYT: U.S. Creates High-Tech Global Supply Chains to Blunt Risks Tied to China
If the nascent effort progresses, it may help the administration meet some of its broad strategic goals. It wants to blunt security concerns involving China, which is growing its chip manufacturing while making threats against Taiwan, a global center of chip technology. And it wants to lower the risks of disruptions to the chip supply chain — risks that became evident during the coronavirus pandemic and the war in Ukraine, both of which threw global shipping and manufacturing into turmoil.
...Over three years of the Biden administration, the United States has attracted $395 billion of investment in semiconductor manufacturing and $405 billion for making green technology and generating clean power, Mr. Toloui said.

What did Mr. Trump do besides impose tariffs?
All I can say is; My employer had record breaking months one after another, during 4 years of Trump, and even 1 year after. The last 3 years business has dropped like a stone.

Did they sell masks during COVID or something?

When a single employer runs counter to the larger economic trend, it might make sense to look at factors unique to them - leadership, employees, the particulars of what they sell - rather than thinking the outlier says something about the overall economy.

Theres plenty about my personal situation that has zero to do with Trump. Or Biden.

I vote based on how I think they will affect the national situation. IF Trump massively improved that, I'd congratulate him. But based on last time, he would be a national disaster, again.

The man couldn’t plan a picnic.
Evasive. This is not evidence for your original claim - it is effectively a reformulation of your original, unsubstantiated claim.

Almost 24 hours ago, @Hans Blaster asked for evidence to support the claim that Biden is not in control.

That request was clear and eminently reasonable - when you make a claim, you need to support it with evidence.

So, where is this evidence?

“Bear spray” manufacturers took a hit after 2021, too.

This is called denial. It’s obvious that there is something wrong cognitively with the president.
What you are basically saying is that we can’t prove it.
Biden cognitively impaired is preferable to Trump in full command of his faculties.
