For a Child Burn Victim

Please pray for Cody, a young boy. He got burned the other day when somebody threw some kerosene on a fire. Almost the whole side of his body was burned. He has to have surgery in the morning. Please pray for him.

My dad was burned as a child. His face is severely scarred..he was actually on the Dayton Daily News front page back when it happened....but he's obviously fine now...being married and all.

Hopefully Cody's burns aren't too bad. I will keep him in my prayers

When I was little I spilled boiling water over myself and was in the hospital for a week. It's a scary thing to go through. That poor child. I'll pray for them.

The actual burn was more tramatising really. A nearby hospital had a chidren's untit for burn victims. My parents visited frequently too. That, and I never was afraid of hospitals as a kid for some reason.

It has almost been two months! He must be getting back into a few normal activities.

The actual burn was more tramatising really. A nearby hospital had a chidren's unit for burn victims. My parents visited frequently too. That, and I never was afraid of hospitals as a kid for some reason.

Hm. I wonder if kids just go and trust where their parents send them.

I'm not sure. *shrugs* I just never had an issue with hospitals. I understood they were there to help people and stuff. I was a pretty rational kid I guess. I didn't have an issue with haircuts, dentists, or any of that stuff.
