Obviously, avoid alcohol and tobacco, and check with doctor before taking even over the counter medicines. (Tylenol is ok, but aspirin, Advil, and Aleve are not. They thin the blood and can affect baby's development.)
With cheeses, read the package. Avoid unpasteurized milk products. If it's pasteurized, it should be all right.
With my last pregnancy I was told to limit tuna and most other fish because of mercury, but now the medical establishment has decided that the benefits outweigh the risks. Salmon is a low mercury fish, though, so you don't have to limit it. Shark and albacore tuna are high, but pink tuna is lower.
Refrigerated lunch meats (like the sandwich meats in your fridge) are fine. The caution about deli meats applies to places where meats may be left out for long periods of time like at a submarine sandwich shop. Hot sandwiches should be fine, as the heating kills lysteria.
If you have blood sugar issues or if you are at risk for them, you will want to keep your sweets to a minimum. Also, potatoes can spike blood sugar!
I can't think of anything else at the moment. And of course, listen to your doctor. Congratulations.
