Well that's not what is being witnessed in real life. Starvation is a very real threat in central Fla. People need to get back to work. Need to make money and pay bills. In hard times people do not always have the luxury of having easy choices to make. Their kids aren't sick, they aren't getting sick, but they have no money to feed them or pay the mortgage to keep a roof over their child. Suicide is also skyrocketing due to despair. Things have to go back to normal so more otherwise healthy people do not die.

Lots of people get awfully judgmental without considering the ramifications of these shutdowns on others.

Of course--but the operative word here is "mitigated." Just opening up is not mitigated risk. A phased reopening with contact tracing (which we seem to be unable to do, in contrast to other civilized countries) and assistance for those who cannot yet resume their normal economic lives would be "mitigated."

Not what I was asking, but I understand what you are saying. I just wanted to know where this is actually happening. Because I only hear about it. Just like our hospital are supposed to be overrun right now. That's not true. Hospitals are furloughing staff because there are no patients, and the lockdown stopped non-critical services.

What I commented on in your one reply is that the virus has been beaten. That is what I am challenging because it certainly hasn't been. numbers are actually up in Florida for the last few days.
