I need some advice...about a teacher....who happens to flirt with students a lot...I'm failing chemistry, with a 33 , I asked today if i could come in and get help. The teacher explained to me that the only time he offered tutorials was after school. I can't go after school because I wouldn't have a ride home. He left it at that. I was gonna get help during class today because i have a test on friday, the next time i have class. I could never get help because he was too busy flirting with the attractive girls in our class. He spent at least thirty to fourty minutes just flirty chatting with them. I don't know what to do. Any advice would be much appriciated!

Don't stay after school alone with him unless there's someone else there, preferably another teacher. I would walk up to him and ask him for help. If it gets too outrages, tell your parents or the principle.

This teacher is a jerk and should be kicked out of the school and never teach again. I would suggest praying to the Lord to help you pass this class. Study very hard for this test. Get help from your friends. Forget that guy! Start doing your homework and class work. Beleive me, I know how it is to fail, but when you motivate yourslef to do better, it works out! If you ask him to help you understand your work and he spends more time fluff-talking with the other girls, then he is not doing the job that he is being paid for. Report that bum to the principal.

There is no crime in talking. If you try to get him in trouble and noone agrees with you you will only hurt yourself. Find a decent tutor and learn the material so you can pass the test. Don't get fixated on taking down a teacher because that is not the problem here and your view may be skewed due to the grade you are worried about.

I agree with Desi, I don't think that he was committing any crime. I does sound like he may have not been doing his job properly. Like I just said, if he neglects a struggling student while he's just 'chatting' with other students, then he has a problem.

Im sure they must offer some sort of tutorials at school, try and find some. If there is another teacher that teaches the same subject see if they would mnd giving you tutorials. Or just hire a tutor. I dont think he was commiting any sort of crime that could be validly reported, it will just make you sound kind of annoying if you talk to your principal. Hope it all works out.

girl, make sure you have someone with you and go talk to him again. Maybe during lunch? Also try getting someone in class who's a decent student to help you? The longer you wait to help that grade the harder it will get. Do take some steps to help yourself here, but again, if you go see that teacher Take A Friend Along! You do have to watch out for yourself--not only your grades, but your safety and your reputation.
There has to be somebody who "gets" the class. Ask around.
