Yeah, I really enjoyed FLCL. Great soundtrack. I can just picture how the meeting to write the show went:

"Ok. What do we want to do?"
"-Ummm... I brought some acid!"
(all) "Excellent!"
*hours later*
"****. We were supposed to have a script done by now. Quick grab all the papers on the table and hand them to the president. He'll never know the difference."

FLCL has one of the few dubs that I can stand. Yay for Haruko, the coolest anime chick in existence.

XD. Watching that series for the first time was like being on acid. (Not that I would know what being on acid feels like, but I can imagine. )

I thought the dub for FLCL was really well done. Having seen the anime subbed first, it was a great pleasure to see how they stuck to the story and the voices.
After watching FLCL twice, the story actually does make sense. Also, reading the manga helps a whole lot in understanding what's going on.

FLCL is at the top of my anime list, right there with Naruto.

FLCL was nearly as strange as the Excel Saga, and stranger then Dragon Half. That's saying a lot. It's pure insanity, but I was laughing so hard I didn't really care.

I just haven't seen how FLCL is all that insane. I mean, it was topsy-turvy and such, but the storyline was very much there and wasn't really all that insane. I think one reason people think it's so insane is because it was apparently in the real world - but it wasn't. It was just modern fantasy.

It was a little crazy coz that girl was crazy, that's why. LOL Real world? That kid was runned over by a bike, someone else was shot and they still lived!! That's real??? LOL

I didn't know you could hit a meteorite with a guitar in the real world!!! LOL Next time I'll get my sister's guitar and try and hit one [if it showers meteors] when she gets mad at me!!!

Basically the girl wanted this guy she liked to come back to her so she stayed with the little boy and his family, right? and she used his skills to try and call out something so this power could come to her, right? She's still strange to me. LOL I liked it though.

Excel Saga is another thing. That was just.....well...oh who knows!! LOL

basically, naota's head is empty or so. she brings the robots out of his head.
somehow, his head acts as a sort of transportation device, as i understand it.

she is trying to get atomsk to come out of his head, so she has to keep trying until she gets it right.

i think that's about it.

i like how it kind of portrays how easily pre-teen boys fall in love with women like her. and how she manipulated him through that.
