Another reason for Wales being a fake country: Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysiliogogogoch has 58 letters which is more letters than in the English alphabet. It is not possible to have more letters in a town name than there are in the alphabet.

If Wales existed, people would have emails ending in .wales or websites with .wales but have you even seen the .wales tld? It exists, but no one ever uses it. That's because no one lives in Wales.

This flat earth thread has been going round and round in circles. Anything worth saying has been repeated many times already. Perhaps discussing whether Wales is a fake country will give the opportiunity to practice evaluating evidence, making good arguements and deciding on the trustworthiness of sources.

But, as it worked for me, here's a brief summary:
Claim: if anyone had been in Antarctica we should have been able to see their breath.
Answer: Sometimes on the video you can see their breath, it depends on the humidity and the lighting. There are other videos on YouTube where we can't see the breath of the people talking - like in Finland. Is Finland fake too?

Claim: someone was vaping. He crouched down out of shot, had a puff on his vape, stood up and breathed out.
Answer: he may have done at that point, but there were other times when people's breath was clearly visible.

Claim: Because this person vaped he was making his breath visible, i.e. faking - so we can forget the whole trip and the 24 hour sun.
Answer: the only way to see this guy, apparently, vaping is to look at the 360 degree footage that was shot - the same footage that critics are claiming was fake. IE, they were able to make their accusation by looking at this footage, but they didn't believe the footage was real.

Conclusion: Claims that the entire trip never happened just because one person may have been vaping at a particular point, are unsubstantiated.

I've now managed to watch the video but thanks for your commentary, how ever I still have my doubts, I still find it strange that Austin managed to conjure up some breath there and then.

How do you know he did?
If it depends, in part, on the lighting how do you know that he wasn't in the shade?
There's one part of the video when you can't see someone's breath, and then they move to the side of a hut, or bend down to look in their rucksack, and suddenly, it's visible.

What makes no sense to me is saying "oh, it's not his breath he's vaping - so therefore the whole expedition is fake. We can forget about the footage and the 24 hour sun - all because it seems like someone was vaping."
Talk about over reaction. Or is it that people so desperately want there not to be a 24 hour sun that they are prepared to latch onto any tiny thing?

Actually, that's what I meant, sorry.
If he had been standing in the shade you would have been able to see his breath. If he was in full sunlight, you wouldn't.

I said, "seemed" because nobody asked him, or got him to say on tape whether he was on not.

But it really doesn't matter.
At that point he was vaping, so what? At other times he wasn't and neither were others in the group. The point of whether someone's breath can be seen DOES depend on humidity and lighting. And dismissing the entire expedition as fake just because someone might have been vaping at on particular moment in 24 hour footage, is absurd

So you're disagreeing with Dean Odle now? Interesting.

Dean publicly said that if there was a 24 hour sun at Antarctica, the earth is a globe. He said that he was eager to go and find out, was given a free ticket but didn't go. He may well have had legitimate reasons for not going, but he didn't go.
The data, video footage etc all showed that there is indeed a 24 hour sun at Antarctica - and he challenged it and said it was fake.
If the presence of a 24 hour sun has no bearing at all on the shape of the earth, they would not have spent a lot of money going to Antarctica to find the truth - and Dean wouldn't have challenged the findings of the expedition.

Whether you realise it or not, you keep tripping yourself up.
